Since 2005, Matt Lahti has and since 2013, Gulfstream Design Group has successfully obtain permits from Local, State and Federal permitting agencies, Designed and Permitted over one thousand projects in St. Johns, Volusia and Flagler Counties. Most projects require a State approved Stormwater Management permit, known as an Environmental Resource Permit (ERP). This permit can be issued by either a Water Management District of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). Additionally, Utility permits are required from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and the Department of Environmental Health (DEH). Depending on location and scope, permitting through the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) may be required.
GDG has over 2 years of experience in obtaining permits from the FDEP and the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) for work within wetlands and or navigable waters. The firm also has extensive experience in working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), a Federal Agency, when the projects are sensitive to the flood plain.
Mr. Lahti has developed a long working relationship with permitting agencies necessary to bring a project through design to construction.
